Has anyone bought or used the heated water pans that you plug into 110 outlet. How did they do and does anyone have suggestions

bowls
I use them best thing since sliced bread. WalMart Had 20 of them in the clearance bin for 5 bucks apiece i bought them all! They originally cost 29.95 pretty good deal i thought

I use 5-7 gal. plastic buckets, take my hand saw and cut them down to just over 1/2 as tall, set the bottom half down inside the upper half, after I've hooked the handle through the chainlink fence. When they freeze, I take the frozen one out and replace with another lowerhalf bucket and turn the frozen one upside down out in the sun to thaw. soon as it thaws loose from the bucket, you just lift it off the block of ice and your ready to go again.
Not much of a problem this year tho...it's actually warmed up over night and is raining again... :-(

I've had the plastic ones, they all got tore up.
Next ones will be the stainless steel ones. The best price I've seen on stainless is here http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/ ... 17&R=55517 The element is removable so you can use the dish itself year round.
