If hound A can't run a deer better than that, he should be scratched.
Hound B is either a young hound or one not to smart to ignore the offender hound A.
A real calling mouth on a hound is hard to ignore to another hound, I have to commend hound B for remaining straight and not being prevoked to open, he stays in the hunt... ;)

TOMMY
YOU MADE ANOTHER GOOD POINT ,THE LAST TRIAL I WAS AT.SOME GUY'S BROUGHT SEVERAL DOGS,AND WAS TELLING EVERONE THAT --2--OF THEM WOULD RUN A DEER HARD,BUT THEY COULD RUN A RABBIT,I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WERE TRYING TO GET--2-- PACKS SCRATCHED TO HELP THEIR ODDS OF WINNING OR HOPING TO GET LUCKY AND NOT FIND A DEER.IN EITHER CASE I THINK IF A GUY BRINGS A DOG, HE KNOWS RUNS DEER, AND IS IN THE CLUB HOUSE BRAGGING ABOUT HOW IT RUN'S DEER.AND ALSO SAID HE REGISTERED THE DOG IN SOME ONE ELSE'S NAME BECAUSE IT RAN DEER .KICK HIM AND HIS DOG OUT.BEFORE THE HUNT.------I KNOW THE RULES DON'T ALLOW THIS BUT MAYBE THEY SHOULD------J-M-O-

KEEP'EM RUNNING

some bragg about a good deer race, and some lie about a good deer race. Some dogs won't run a deer, but is sure is funny to see deer proof dogs pole a deer at a trial.

returns to hunting! I had one scratched for following a hound that was hammering a deer even though he never opened and dropped off at the first thicket and went rabbit hunting. The judge said that he didn't immediately return to me. Wrong application.

the judge should let the dog hark in like they r supposed to .then give it a bit to turn it down then scratch if it dont!

The answer is simple .Give the handlers 10 min to catch thier hounds as the rules allow .No harm No foul.Too many hounds scratched for instinctivly following or harking to a dog running.
