Little to warm to hunt today so me and the boy took the pup out for some work. Found this buck in a big honeysuckle patch....Poor feller probably couldn't find him after the shot. He's gonna make a nice European mount.
I found one last december while rabbit hunting that was about midway down a deep ravine. He had been there awhile, most likely the season before based on the bleached antlers and skull. Luckily, there was very little squirrel damage to it.
