I poured the concrete and got the chain link from Lowes and did all of that myself. Saved atleast $1000. I cut 4" pvc in half and poured the concrete around it. I left the bell end in tact and put an elbow on it and attached regular pipe to it to shoot waste over the hill. Turned out real nice. Eventually if I get enough dogs, I am going to do the other half of the shed the same way. This shed is attached to the back of my garage. I am also going to cut holes in the block and build their boxes inside the garage which will double as a work bench. Will be able to remove the top to access the box. Thinking of putting lights on a dimmer switch under the floor of the boxes because the garage isnt heated. The only problem I have right now is their water freezing. Also hard to clean the concrete when it is below freezing point. Just have to keep it scooped and wait for a warm day.

I just bought a heated water bucket at the Tractor Supply Co. Cost about $36.00. It.s a pretty big bucket. Small pups wouldn't be able to drink from it. But my 8 month old doesn't have a problem. Only bought it because they were out of heated water bowls.
Thanks for the comments. I was thinking of buying heated water bowls but I was afrais the dogs would chew the cords. If I can figure out how to keep them from chewing the cords I probably will. Maybe slip some pvc conduit over the cord or something. Not sure. Thanks again. I love the waste trough. Works great.

SPORTSMAN --what I did-- like on your block wall -I put recp. up on the wall about 5ft.high all wiring is in pvc conduit and I bilt a box for the heated bowls and ran the cord up the wall in metal conduit works great --on the top of the boxes around the bowls is covered in light sheet metal --so they don't chew on them
The heated water bowls have a wire spiral on the electrical cord and usually prevents them from chewing on the cord. However, don't let them be able to pull the cord into the kennel and get to the plug end. I learned that the hard way. I didn't lose a dog, but I did have to replace the ends on my cords.
