time to say thanks to Bev and the American Beagler

This is a good place to inform fellow hunters about bills and other legislation that may jeopardize our rights to hunt and free cast our hounds.

time to say thanks to Bev and the American Beagler

Post by jackrabbit »

As most of you have already heard the Indiana Department of Natural Resources took a beating at the Administrative Rule Change Open houses. The turn out by the all venues of sportsmen and women was fantastic. Not only did the hunting dog owner turn out in force to object to DNR's proposed dog training rules, but so did trappers, fishermen, and other non-dog sportsmen. There was tremendous efforts put forth by so many people and organizations. Bev and the American Beagler were major force in getting the word out and encourging sportsmen and women to participate in the cause. We have a long rough road ahead of us yet. the process can be upto 2 years long. We are well on our way to a successful outcome for sure. Thank you very much for all your support.

You are most welcome. I'm not quite through with them (IDNR) yet myself. I've got a couple more irons in the fire. Everyone is bragging about the good turnout at the different open houses by dog-folk. Gotta hang together.

Bev,

I am just a beginner in most respects to beagling even though I have been around or had beagles all my life.

Would like to met you. I hope to make it to Silver Creek. How can a person find you there?

Bev. you can tell Ralph that his buddies kept a short leash on me at the advisory council meeting weds. in indy...... they said Ralph sent me a message.... first they said it was stay out of trouble... then later they said the message was that my ugly bluetick mutt wasnt any good.... or that i didnt have any good dogs... they just kept changing their story... so i think Ralph will just have to deal with them when he sees them... and it was all in fun... ill have a message soon on how we feel we fared at the meeting... which by the way seems good.
