SHOWBOAT

Post by Colebuck Beagles »

Just wondering what type of dogs showboat is throwing?
Any with wins or any champions? If so, what is the female side?
How big is showboat and typically what size dogs does he throw?
I've heard lots about dreamboats offspring, but didn't know if showboat was also a good reproducer?

Thanks

I have a male out of ShowBoat and a female that Craig Tull own's named Donkey's Pride. He is 3-1/2 years old and is a Champion in little pack with 3 wins toward Grand he is also a Bench champion. he is about 14-1/2" to 14-3/4", he hunts but he is not what I would call a brush dog and he has all the foot he needs. Show Boat is around 14-3/4" to 14-7/8" and runs a good clean track.

I have a litter out of Boat that is about 6 months old. The first female to start running in the training pen was 6 weeks old. At 8 weeks I had the other two females running and at 11 weeks the males took off. So far all of these pups have above average hunt, exceptional tracking ability and speed. If my female were younger I would make the cross again based on what I have seen so far.
