HERE IS ANOTHER TO ONLY GET FEEDBACK
HERE IS ANOTHER SCENERIO THAT I WAS INVILVED IN AND DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE JUDGES DECISION,I DID NOT COMPLAIN NOR PROTEST,THIS IS NOT AN ATTEMPT IN ANY WAY TO SLAM ANYONE,OK HERE IT IS::::::::::::::::DOG A HARKS IN THREE OR FOUR BARKS,IN THICK COVER IT TAKES THE JUDGE ABOUT 15 SECONGS TO REACH DOG A,DOG B IS THERE WITHIN FIVE FEET OF A ,B HAS A RABBIT IN IT'S MOUTH.NO LINE IS ESTABLISED,A IS THE ONLY DOG TO MOUTH.DOG A IS AWARDED JUMP STRIKE AND B GETS A CHECK.I AM NOT TRYING TO SLAM ANYONE,I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE CALL AND WOULD APRECIATE ANY ****POSITIVE*******FEEDBACK.WAS THE JUDGE RIGHT OR WAS THE JUDGE WRONG.######P.S.I AM NOT INCINUATING THAT THIS IS ANY OTHER JUDGE THAT I HAVE POSTED A DECISION ABOUT BEFORE AS USUAL,NO NAMES NO CLUB,NO NOTHING.ONLY THE FACTS.THNK YOU,LETS KEEP IT CLEAN GUYS.

Don't get him all fired up, he wan'ts to keep it clean. LOL
Strike dog A is the only score that can be awarded in this scenario. Dog a was put on the clock, dog B produced the rabbit. The rabbit was caught before the judge ever got there so he really does not know which dog actually jumped the rabbit, no jump points! as described in the definition of a jump, rule # 4. No check points can be awarded either, Definition of a check, rule 1.a. If a hound catches a rabbit during open check time, the hound shall be awarded 25 check pionts. If a hound catches a rabbit when the check time is not open, the judge shall call dead track and no check points shall be awarded. Dave

YOU HEARD WRONG,THE JUDGES WHERE JARED MACALISTER AND BRIAN PASSAMORE,YES JRED FELL BRIAN SAID HE DID NOT GIVE THE CHECK TO ANY DOG CAUSE HE DID NOT SEE IT AND THAT IS FAIR.YES WE, THE HANDLERS, KNOW IT WAS DOZER AND YES IT WOULD HAVE GAVE HIM THE WIN,BUT I AM SURE THAT WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE MISSED ON ANY OF THE DOGS BUT DID I COMPLAIN ,NO.THOSE TWO MEN GAVE 110% FOR A SOLID HOUR RUNNING,THEY ADMITED SOME WAS MISSED,BUT I KNOW THEY DID NOT MISS MUCH.THE DOG THAT WON THE CAST WAS AWESOME,HECK THEY ALL DID A GOOD JOB,I THINK THE FINAL WAS 215,200,185,150, AND 0.DOZER FINISHED 2ND.I AGREE WITH THE DECISION BRIAN MADE,HE DIDN'T SEE THE DOG SO HE DIDN'T SCORE IT.YOU CAIN'T COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT.JARED FELL HARD AND LOOKED HURT,HE GOT UP,BRUSHED HIMSELF OFF AND DID A GOOD JOB,THE COVER WAS THICK,WE HAD A HARD TIME JUST WALKING,AND THE JUDGES RAN FOR A SOLID 60 MINUTES.SURE I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT IT WAS DOZER,THE HANDLERS AND I SEEN THE OTHER DOGS PULLING TO DOZER ON THAT CHECK,BUT THE JUDGES DID NOT,LIKE I SAID,HE MADE THE CORRECT DECISION.ASK ANYONE THAT WAS THERE I DID NOT LOOSE MY TEMPER,WHEN IT HAPPENED,YEH, I SAID "THAT IS THE CHECK THAT WOULD HAVE WON IT",BUT THE JUDGES DID THE RIGHT THING.WHEN THERE IS THAT MUCH SCORING,THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME THINGS MISSED,BUT THE SCORES WILL TELL YOU,THEY DID NOT MISS MUCH.THE DOGS WHERE ALL SUPER FAST CHECK DOGS AND SOME DARN GOOD ONES,I DON"T KNOW WHO ALL OF THEM WHERE,BUT I WILL TELL YOU THIS MUCH,IN 07,AT THE WORLD,THEY SHOULD ALL DO GOOD.THOSE WHERE SOME NICE HOUNDS AND GOOD JUDGES,MY HAT GOES OFF TO THOSE GUYS,THEY EARNED THEIR MONEY THAT DAY.

I'll echo that dawgy,I am unimpressed by high scores.Best cast I ever judged ran a rabbit for 50 min. till they caught it and high score was 50 points.I missed 2 checks.I would have gladly fed anyone of those dogs.None of them will ever have a chance to win the world hunt but they will account for hundreds of rabbits in their lifetime. When I was apprenticing for LP judging I helped judge a cast of champions that the other judge warned me beforehand I would be unimpressed.I agreed on the drive back and would have been embaressed to own any of those WORLD WINNERS.

keep the rabbit going steady with a score like that it sounds like they can't even run a rabbit.

Bob Schwartz here, head north on 77 till you hit a big lake and then hang a right.
Bring up Dozer anytime and we will go rabbit hunting.Best dogs in the pack stay on the ground when I go out.I own a LP champ who ended up in the box on Friday because he was being a knucklehead and trying to score points instead of helping me get my limit
I kept a little bluetick on the ground on Saturday that any selfrespecting LP man would have scoffed at but she had a couple of jumps and prevented 2 tough losses.I was NOT making fun of your dog,I'm sure he won HOY fair and square but it means nothing to me.
Not hiding either, its a clever little thing we do here, come up with some nickname and go with it.A little free advice, set back and take a breath.....................

I WILL BE UP THAT WAY NEXT WEEKEND,I WILL HAVE DOZER AND MY DOGS THAT COMPETE IN MULTIBLE FORMATS LIKE AKC,THEY AINT NOTHING WRONG WITH LP DOGS,MINE WENT TO AKC AND PLACED.A LOT OF GUYS HAVE BEEN DOIN THAT.MY DOGS ARE GUNDOGS FIRST AND FORMOST,IF THEY CAN'T BE GUNNED OVER I SEND THAM DOWN THE ROAD.ARE YOU SUGGESTING THAT LP DOGS CAN'T CUT IT AS GUNDOGS?MINE ALL CAN,OR I WON'T HAVE THEM.
