It is a little known fact but, green Persimmons will cure baldness.
They won't grow hair but will draw your sideburns up on top of your head.

I heard an old gentlemen say one time when they were kids they switched out the communion wine with persimmon wine & the congregation stood & had to whistle the closing hymn.
