They Think We Are Fools

Post by A-Site »

Anyone noticed how the price of fuel has slipped prior to the November election? This is no accident. The present party in power is concerned they will lose their advantage in the House and Senate during this election. This administration has been in the pocket of big oil since they arrived in Washington. During this administration oil companies have enjoyed record profits at our expense. It is in the oil companies best interest to keep the status quo in D.C. The plan is to decrease in prices before the election and hope people will have short memories. After the November election you will see record fuel prices and more record profits.

What does this have to do with dogs? Everytime I start my truck to go run my dogs I think of my friends in Washington looking out for my best interest. Unfortunately, this country is now being run by corporations and I've grown tired of it.

AMEN! Dont forget Haliburton and how much of our money they took without giving us what we paid for......bunch of corrupt bastages. I refuse to vote for a Democrat or Republican anymore, I am convinced they are all worried about themselves and not the people. I will waste my vote before voting for a waste again. Look where the leaders in the last 25-30 years have taken us.....from less than $1 trillion debt to $8.5 TRILLION DEBT! When they trade votes to pass laws, something is wrong.

KINKY FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

Best to you,
Randy

Hey Honey Pot Hounds. You need to wake up and look what is going on with the Gas Prices, and this Country. I do Blame President Bush, for this whole mess. I don't want to argue politics with you, and I won't. I will say this, my son just got his orders to go over to Bagdad (I don't know if I spelled it right). I do know one thing I don't want my son over there, and the only reason he is over there is because of there was a bunch of lies told, and a lot of young kids are coming back in Pine boxs. So Don't tell me that Bush is not at fault. Because what ever you say I won't listen.

It’s not about being republican or democrat. Everyone should have paid attention to how many oil companies’s he owned prior to voting him into office. What did you really expect? If I owned several large company’s I would make sure my nest egg was looking pretty before I gave my seat up as well.

Just curious... I hear this stuff alot about bush and oil prices..... could someone tell me how he makes the prices go up and down?????

One thing I know for sure if he had some way to manipulate the market and was doing so it would be highly illegal and the dem.'s would be all over it.... nothing one party likes more then to impeach the others pres.

If you're going to make these acusations about how bush or the republicans are manipulating gas prices..... show me where you get your info.

The price of gas over the last 50 years has gone up alot less then college tuitions, botteled water, electricity etc, house prices, wages etc........ AT some point it had to catch up with inflated prices of everything else. Where's all the complaining about those things.... probably a democrat, or republican did that also, LOL. I hate to break it to you but prices go up because of the market value and supply and demand.

I'm sure I'll regret posting this but oh well...... LOL (for the record I"m not a Republican)

And I'd have to agree with Randy, the biggest thing we should be worried about the gov. messing with is borrowed money!!!!!!!!

And here I thought it was supply and demand also..

Weekly inventory reports showing build up in supplies instead of drawdowns. No hurricanes on the map presently-no signs of possible disruptions. Israeli-Hezbollah peace holding. Massive off-shore reserve discovered this week. All bringing down gasoline futures contracts at the commodities pit. Commodities market set the price, not Big Oil but I was drinking the Kool-Aid I guess.

Nope, it is the election coming up..

I propose we have elections every 3 months and get it down to $1.....But that will only work if Republicans keep winning. Conversely if Democrats win, then Big Oil will raise the prices before the election so that would be bad if they got in I guess. Personally I am a Lieberman Independent type--

If I see a thunderhead coming, I am goin' to the house!

Catfish,

Good organization -

Sobering ordeal...

Let's keep to dogs and leave the "cussing and discussing" to the D.C. folks.

Our fair is coming up at the endof the month. I've thougt about going to a T-shirt place and have one made up. It would have an elphant and a jack*** on it. The lettering over top of the animals would say pull your heads out of your ***** or we the people will help you. I have problems with the whole congress when they are sending our young men and women into combat, when we didn't really have to be there. I have problems with us not securing our own borders. I've vented enough.

God Bless our young men and women and bring them home safe.

If we're lucky, our next president will be a spineless, tree-hugging, anti-gun, pro-choice, blundering liberal, that thinks it's normal for men to hold hands. Then we'll have too many other things to worry about to be concerned about oil prices! :D Go Hillary!
