after reading your replys, I went to wally world and started to read all the labels. Iams ,Pedigree, purina, old roy(I use the high-pro) and what ever else they had. Most of it was corn the first ingredient. none of it is something I would eat. I have seen dogs eat some bad things. I think I will stick with old roy Hi pro for now and try to find some good vitamin supplements from jeffers. Any suggestions? also does anyone use any kind of pad cream or gel on their dogs or should their pads be hard for the hunt. What about hunting in snow...maybe this year I will get some.

If you are in MO, you should be able to get Black Gold. Much better than Ol Roy (in my opinion), I got it for $16/50lb bag. I think you are closer to the mfg than I was, so you might be able to get it a little cheaper.
