I found out today that Josh Patterson("JPat" on the board) lost Luke to a disease similar to Lymes disease. He contracted the disease from a tick bite. Luke was a very good dog with 2 AKC liscensed wins and more than that he was Josh's hunt'n buddy. He was only 5 years old. I'm sorry for your loss Josh. Good Luck and we'll see ya at the trials this fall with another good one I'm sure.
Josh and "Jimmy" Rick... Sorry to hear the loss of your dog. Lost my favorite one last year to kidney failure. It's amazing how these special little hounds become like kids to you over time. Keep your heads up, Luke isn't the only nice hound you guys have. See you fellows up at North Central Ohio in a few weeks... Take care.

Josh, Sorry for your loss buddy, i know what you're going through. It's hard but somehow we always make it through. Just keep your head up and don't get discouraged. Cya at the trials buddy..
Josh & Rick, Sorry to hear the bad news. Always difficult to lose a huntin' buddy. I'm glad that I was able to see Luke run (& place) at Java this past June. A fine hound for sure! Hope to see you soon.
I appreciate the kind words from everyone. Losing Luke has been pretty tough on me. Sometimes you dont realize just how attatched you are to a dog. Luckily, Luke was bred a few times this summer and I will get a chance to see how is pups do. Thanks. Josh Patterson
