Fun Hunt....All Are Welcome

The North Mountain Beagle Club is having a fun hunt September 9th, starting at 7 am. For more information please contact club president Ramon Deisher 540-473-2920 or send me a pm. All are welcome to attend. There will be field and bench ribbons given out. We are located in Sharon, Va. About 30 minutes away from Covington, Va. right off of Interstate 64. We will be also having a Field Trial September 23rd. Deadline for that is 7 am and 11:30 am for bench. Hope to see you all there.

What kind of club is it? AKC, UKC, ARHA,? what kind of fun hunt is it also?

We are a UKC beagle club. The fun hunt is basically the same as a sanctioned field trial except there are no points given. Just for fun. Helps everybody get to know the UKC format of field trials and to brush up on the rules of the field and bench. It is a lot of fun, if your not used to running under UKC style hunts or if your wondering what the UKC style is like, these fun hunts are great ways to get the hang of it. Your beagle does not have to be UKC registered to enter this fun hunt. Thanks for the reply.

William.. My brother and I are going to try to make both. How's the rabbit population around this year. If anything like last year, you guys are loaded. See you all in a few weeks.

Hey Jim, good hearing from ya. From what I've heard it's looking pretty good. I know around here I have seen more rabbits this year than this time last year. I hope it stays that way. Hows that little hound of yours doing? I bet she's smokin em up. I've read some good things on your male too. Keep up the good work. Hope to see you guys there.

William I would love to come to the fun hunt but I have two dogs going to Danville for the zone but I will be at your sanctioned hunt later in the month for sure. I am looking forward to the hunt you guys put on a real nice hunt and have some super good running. Take care and I will see you at the hunt.
