Anything to keep flies off dog?

I have 3 beagles, 2 female, 1 male. The flies do not bother the male or 1 female but they are constantly on my other female. Is there anything I can give her or spray on her that will repel the flies? I even gave her a bath but the flies where all over her again a few hours later. I have even noticed very small scabs on the back outside of her ear either from the flies or from her scratching at them.

Any suggestions??

I use Bronco horse fly spray it is actually for horses. I spray down there body liberally. Then I spray it on a rag or on my hands and apply to there face and ears. If they are making sores you can get an ointment called SWAT and it is like a paste, pink in collar.

spray her down with a mix of Vinegar and Downy. It makes good cheap fly spray. 2/3 vinegar 1/3 downy.
