size of kennel boxes ?

im building a couple kennels, and my width for my boxes on the back are 40"
what height and depth should i go with ?

Just give em' enough room to stand up & turn around in.A dog stays warm from its own body heat.The smaller the better because in the winter they won't have all that room to fill with their own heat.The smaller the living space the warmer they are in the winter.
