Another beagler needs thoughts and prayers.

Post by Bev »

Sally (Oakhill) McGehee's father passed away Thursday and was buried Saturday (yesterday). Sally has been diligent about being at his side, and all though she would never say it, (and she'll kill me for saying it) she HAS had a tough row to hoe here lately. NOBODY could ask for a better daughter/mother/grandmother/wife/friend than Sally McGehee, so send her your prayers, please.

I love you, Sally. We all love you. Chin to the wind...

Prayers

Post by Dexter »

Our prayers go up for you in your time of sadness! We pray that your father was a follower of Christ and if so, he is now walking on Golden streets in Heaven! I pray for God to give you the comfort and peace that can only come from Him! Sally, rely on your Heavenly Father now because He is there for you, just lean on Him and He will give you strength!
God Bless,
Dexter

I just pm'd Sally and told her that i hoped she wasn't upset with me for posting a prayer request for her (she hates special attention) but I also told her (and this is the TRUTH) that we on this message board are like one big family who fights once in a while, but that we are always there for each other in time of need.

Thank you all for just being you.

I have been without internet lately because of the move to Michigan. I did hear about this via a friend and she has been and will continue to be in my prayers.

Sally,
Sorry to hear the sad news. My prayers Sally (and family) to find the peace and strength you need at this time. I am glad Eric (my son) and I had the chance to meet your dad, and show him his daughter was not full of beans that a person would drive so far to buy a beagle pup and get a chance to visit with such fine folks.

Thank you all for the prayers and kind words. It is friends like you all, my family, and my faith in God who has sustained me thru this difficult time. I can honestly say this has been the worse ordeal I have ever been thru in my life. My dad was a very special guy and will be missed greatly.

I consider myself to be very blessed to be apart of the beagle world. There are no others folks who are as loyal and as caring as this group of people.

May God bless you all.
