Mike,
I've done a lot a research, like you I'm looking at buying something new also. According to the Consumer Report and quite a few magazines that I've read. The Toyota Taccoma in extended or quad cab is the number one rated pick-up. The Nissan is next. Followed by Ford, Dodge, Chevy/GMC. It's funny our American made stuff is at the bottom of the rating.

Patch, I wish I could help you out there with your stock, but since Ford blatenly pushes their homosexual agenda, I will never purchase a Ford again. That really gets my goat, I really liked them in the past. All I can say is the next time I am in the market for a vehicle, I will call yeller and Jimmie and see what kind of a deal they can get me. (It may be pretty soon as one car has 108K on it and the other has 155K.)S.R.Patch wrote:Neither, get the H3, the hounds will love the ride. Or, at least buy a Ford, so the stock I bought will go up...

dodge dakota
Dodge Dakota is the best I've driven. The quality has really come back into the Chrysler vehicles.

Do a "google" search on problems with Dodge Dakota or Toyota Tacoma. I wish I had before I bought a Dodge Durango for my 20 year old daughter.. Nothing but trouble since day one!!!!! and from what I'm reading Dodge doesn't want to stand behind their products either.
research research and more research!!!!!
