I put apple in mine, caught a few,I then sprayed the rabbit scent that you lay out trails for puppies with, around the apple and caught twice what I did with just plain apple.I guarentee it works!!! Good Luck.Patience pays off.

Find someone with a tame rabbit.

Take a scoop of "droppings" and use them for bait!

With Doe droppings i catch Bucks, like Senators after hookers!

good luck,

Nite Lite has the Timothy Rabbit Scent but I have heard from a friend
that recently caught several wild rabbits by placing fresh rabbit
droppings around the trap and soaking the trap with apple juice.
The fellow that told me this caught eight wild rabbits using this method
which I thought was great for this time of year.

Bill Boatman's sells a good rabbit scent.I bought some pyramid traps towards the end of rabbit season and in 3 weeks time I caught 15 rabbits.I used a small piece of apple on the stick and put some thin slices on the edge where i wanted them to enter.I used Apple Juice and a little vinegar added to it in a squirt bottle to spray the trap after handling it.I squirted some rabbit scent on it also.I had a rabbit every morning.I caught a possum one night and squirted the trap real good with the vinegar and had a rabbit the next day.I was putting the trap in the woods and didn't catch anything.Put the traps in the middle and on the edge of food plots and started catching them real good.I put the rabbits in my running pen and they have been multiplying. The pyramid is the best trap I've used by far.
