I have a litter of pups now 5 weeks old. One female the last in litter to open eyes has cloudy eyes. One eye has cleared some but also the eyes look like they are only half open. has anyone seen a problem like this?
Its usually normal for the eyes to have a blue or cloudy tint to them shortly after they open. If she was exposed to bright light or camera flash, it may have irritated the eyes. I wouldn't worry unless it persists for more than a week.
Put some of the antibotic eye salve in the eyes. If they have gotten some infection, they will want to seal back shut and this will make it worse. The salve will keep them soft & from sealing shut and clear the infection...
