help with kennel

Post by JTBeagler1 »

I have above ground kennels that are under some tree's but even with all the shade and with the dogs always having water, it seems like they are still getting hot. Does anyone know o f a cheap way to keep them cool I was thinking of somehow putting fans but not real sure

THANKS

I ahve heard of people freezing water in milk jugs and putting those in there. I have never done it and it seems like they would melt fast, but it is an idea. I have used water misters that hook up to water hoses to keep show pigs and show cattle cool. They don't use much water and seem to work well for them. Just a couple of ideas.

Take them to a dog groomer and get each a haircut.

#2 blade is about right.

It will leave enough hair to protect in the briars, but they will stay cooler.
