Lp or UKC H&H.
Why not try the new UKC PP rules its new to every one. Takes A pretty good rabbit dog to win in it.

I will say this " The winning dog must certify " . What is certify? The dog thats wins will have to prove itself worthy . It must hunt by itself and jump a rabbit also within a reasonable time it must circle its own rabbit. It must also be able to have a starter pistol or some other firearm fired over it while circling its own rabbit . So if ur dog cant hunt jump and circle its own rabbit , please save ur money . If we are gonna run for cash , i want to see a complete beagle . Also if ur dog is gun shy dont apply .I am sorry if people find this kinda strong but Progressive pack has done it for years with sucess . Good luck to all that decide to enter guys and girls . In my little pea brain there is no difference between a trial dog and a gun dog.
Old school Northway . Full Throttle no Bottle.

I like the idea of certifying but think it would open a WHOLE can of worms.... what do you do with the guy who wins a $2000.00 pot and the only time left to certify him is in the heat of a 90 degree day????? Take the money back and go with the second place dog??? Of course they'd have to certify to and would run into the same thing.
What do you do if the winner can't certify.... and people start with, "yes that dog was junk, and if it hadn't been in my cast I would have won."
I really think certifying is a good idea and liked that idea in pp. But in a one time money hunt don't know if it'd be practical. If I fail to certify due to weather, lack of rabbits, or my hound just has a bad day at a PP trial.... oh well.. I'm only out what 10 or 15 bucks and can try again. But if one of those reasons bites a guy out of a big pot....... could be ugly. Not like he could just say oh well I'll try it again at the next one.
Other problems come to mind.... just some things to think about. If it turns into a big pot you'd really want to think through every little detail I think.

I have a spot we can all go!!!!! In Oakland City, IN. We dont have to worry about cars or anything like that. Lot of room to run and plenty of rabbits. Let them run all night if you want to.
I say turn them all loose and as a group we can figure out what dogs are getting the most done. Run all day and dogs will be weeding thereself out. No need to score and chase them lets just hunt them and watch. We will all see the same thing. Lets hunt ALL day and if we cant figure out a winner hunt them the next day.
