Question for FC Buckeye Ninja Blueboy Fans?

BlueBoy is 10 years old right. Now no body get upset because I also have some Blueboy stuff in my kennel but I've been wondering about this for a while. Would you say he is a known producer? I know he's has been bred quite a bit but you never hear of anything out of him thats tearing it up, becoming FC, RCH, GRCH, OR HBCH. Ive had a lot of people that saw him run say he was the real deal so whats up. If there are any FC etc. list them for me please I would like to know who they are. Thanks for any info.

I only know of three Blue Boy dogs in my area besides my young dog which has not been trialed. One is a dog named Chilly Willy- unsure of spelling- this dog is a LP rabbit champion owned by Myron Conn of Tollesboro, KY- this dog won his first cast in the Champions class at this year's LP world hunt. Dog #2 is LPRCH named Diamond that is owned by Ronnie Poe- don't know where Ronnie lives, but I believe I first met him at Carlisle's Beagle Club. Dog #3- Prickly Ash Bugle Boy- RCH- that was owned by Jimmy Hinton of Tollesboro. I'm sure there's plenty more of these dogs out there I just haven't seen them.

give it about a 1 1/2 and you'll hear about 4 to 5 names pop up with Buckeye ninja blue boy as their father. this dogs are 8-9 months old and putting it on the older dogs, sometimes making the older dogs look stupid. keep your eye out.

Josh Turner of Wv has one that is unbelievable. watch out for this dog guys.

The guy that you need to talk to is Ed Smith. He breed his Jip to Blue boy last year. The Jip goes by the name El. I hope the spelling is right. I seen three of the pups run, and at 8 months old, they are just about ready to go into little pack trails. They have a lot of speed and hunt, and are great in the check area. Plus there is a guy in NY. that has two pups out of this litter that is tearing it up also. Ed goes by the name (Cornerstone on this site). He is a great guy, and loves to talk about Beagling. Your buddy James Wright has one of the pups out of that litter Catfish & WVHUNTER were talking about. There were 7 pups in the litter and I am happy with the results so far. I have noticed a little submisivness in one of the females till she hits the ground then she is all out. and one of the males is a little tight mouthed, but was told he is doing alot better. "L" was bred to Blueboy with sucess as was my Turbo female Chance.

I haven't seen any Blueboy dogs run but my Question is:If a dog can pretty well produce a dog that hunts hard ,run a good track and pretty well honest with mouth and good speed and be able to kill rabbits is not that a RABBIT dog.Does he have to produce a front in hound to be called a producer.I would rather breed to a dog that will produce a rabbit dog then just a title.I've heard people talk good about dogs out of Blueboy.

Scott, the female I have left from Blue Boy and Cassey is 2 and doing a nice job. She can put it on the older dogs at times, still needs some more running, but by fall she will be where I want her.

Wayne I think you misunderstand what I asked. I din't say Blueboy was'nt a producer. I just asked if everybody else considered him a known producer and if they do were are they all at. I'm not a big time feild trialer but I dont think you have to be a front end dog to do good at trials. Personally I think a good gun dog that hunts hard, runs a good track with decent speed, and works a good check bringing old bunny back to the gun would do good in several different formatts of trialing. I just wonder why you dont hear much about dogs doing real good in field trials out of him. I mean I'm sure there have been several dogs out of him trialed over the past 8 years or so wouldnt you think so?
