plast lattice and waste

does the waste fall off the 1 inch x 1 inch plastice lattice? if not, do you have to scoop it out yourself. the holes seems a little small compared to the surface plastic area. Any Any new information about waste not falling through the 1'x1' wholes will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Some of it does the rest i get out with a shovel. It just depends on the dog. Almost all of my pups falls threw. But my males i have to scoop most out.
