.not that its any of my business really
Your Right its not
Maybe you ment it in a non hurtful way but that aint the way it came accross.
Now here is a little information For ya from ONE who Knows!
I have seen all Oakhills hounds and Run with em too, HAVE YOU? granted she may have one or 2 that are a Little heavy BUT then again So do I!!!!
Kinda hard not to feed em!
I personally dont like to be able to Count all thier ribs one or two ribs showin at the back is all I want to see.
Oakhills dogs can get out and flat Burn a rabbit and thier weight aint even a factor!!! And how do you know that when the pics were taken they hadn't been laid up for a few days? I have one female that a week in the pen She will put on the weight but 2 days of runnin and she will burn it off.......
I would much rather have a happy healthy Slightly Overweight hound than one of these half starved Penned up except for trialin time Athletes!!!!!

 Norwester, thank you for your concise and objective interpretation of my hounds. I would have never known they were over weight without your conjecture. ;) lol

It is the middle of summer and they are not getting run regularly. But I appreciate your concern. :bozo:
Dream will never be skinny. But she can run all day with the best of em.

When you post something on an open forum, folks are gonna comment and thats all I'm doing. I'm just stating what seems obvious to me and Im not "interpreting" anything.........Im lookin at pictures of obese dogs. Whether they are running regularly or not is irrelevant, being obese is death to dogs and a slow one at that. To me that is no different than starving ones dogs.......the bottom line is the same, it results in poor health. TC you dont need to take it personal and show your ass by making ridiculous statements like "thier weight aint even a factor!!!" .......of course it is. If Oakhills dogs do a fine job (which I certainly dont doubt at all!) in the shape they are in these photos then imagine how they would do in top shape. Same goes for your dogs as you admit to keeping them in similar form. I didnt start this to be hurtful as you put it, but sometimes the truth hurts and motivates some to make an adjustment. If this helps you to put into perspective the harm done to your dogs being overweight then its not hurtful at all.......but helpful, which is what I intended it to be in the first place. Its just unfortunate that there is really no "nice" way of approaching such a subject.

If anyone was showing their ass it was YOU Norwester. The fact you would say anything derogatory about anyone's hounds without being asked is just pure rude and not cool. If you were genuinely concerned, there is a neat little feature on here called a Private message. You were just being a jerk and trying to publically embarrass someone or be cute or what ever and got called out on it just as I am calling you out now!
Have a little respect for others and you will receive the same.

LMAO!!!!! Stop it, you two. SB is a woman. Norwester if she beats ur butt you'll never live it down. Point taken on all sides. Okay, some of Sally's dogs are fat and a couple of them *gasps* live in the house - she's a sucker for a sad face, but they don't have to run hare like yours. They do fine on cottontail and she loves the snot out of them.

Let's get back to talking blueticks. Here's one of mine... well... used to be mine, lol. He belongs to the tennie-shoes now.

No one wants to fight. ------Well maybe I do sometimes but only with my wife and she always and I do mean always wins! :D
Sally can and always has been able to take care of herself. We all respect her oppinion and love to see her pretty little blue dogs even if they do kinda favor me around the waist.

MOLEHILLS = MOUNTIANS then we go to Iraq, where nobody wins!

You guys need to relax a little.........you'd think I made the comment about Oakhill him/herself not the dogs. No need to take it so personally, just an observation I made that lends credence to the trend that most folks believe that keeping their dogs fat = healthy and content, which is certainly not the case (at least the healthy part anyway).

You're right Bev.........I dont need to get beat up by anyone  but I never doubted Oakhill's commitment to her dogs......REALLY. Geez.........this is the same sort of trouble I get into when my wife asks me if her JEANS make her ass look fat, I hate lying and I havent come up with the right answer for that one yet either

All is well in the garden, NorWester. The written word is the hardest thing from which to interpret emotion and intent. Sally doesn't take it personally, do you, Sally? In any event, it probably would have been better received in a private message...
