How thick is the concrete? What do you recommend?

You shouldnt need anymore than 3" thick for a kennel. But be sure if you are spanning more than 10 feet or so to make some breaks in the slab to prevent it from cracking. Also make sure to put down gravel before you pour. You can either pour it in sections to make your breaks or get a Quickie saw (concrete saw) to cut breaks into the slab. They work well and do a neat job.

Dane they are just fastened to the building. They just sit on the blocks, but with the panel fastened together they are pretty heavy and don't move easily.

I would recommend concrete 4" thick and a slope of 1/2" per foot.

When you poor your concrete pad make sure you have plenty of fall (slope). It makes it allot easier to clean and any rain water will run off faster…which mean’s faster dry time. It works out great when your washing out the kennels
