Hello i was wondering everyone what would be a better method for starting a well bred beagle pup around 8 months old, taking it out with older dogs, letting it sight chase and then track a tame rabbit,or dragging around a dead rabbit then let the pup track it.

I'd drag a dead rabbit or get you a 'pet' rabbit and work him that way. He's still young.
