My box has been in the back of my truck for a year. I don't take it out. There is NO leaks or weakness in it and I'm pretty sure that if there was at any time Troy would take care of it. The bottom has several supports under it and is not setting right down on the bed of the truck. This keeps water from getting onto the bottom.

As for the guy who asked about sizes, I don't remember the exact sizes that I gave Troy. If you look at the bed of a Dodge truck it is 1" on each side less than the width, about 4-5" taller than the bed (I did that on purpose), and extends back about half way across the wheel wells.
It is a three hole box and I suppose I could fit at least nine beagles in there for a short trip maybe more.

I looked for someone to make me a custom 4 door dog box but could.nt find anyone to do this. so i built my own. This 4 compartment dog box fits my flatbed i built just perfect. room for my Tundra snowmobile right beside it. This custom truck works well it has stainless eyebolts around the truck for tie outs. Guys dont underestamate yourselves build your own. You may be surprised.

Hey Fred, that's the young Male I have. He was here when you got Annie but he was a bit smaller..lol.. He's a big oaf now. But coming along well. Our season is done up here but I would have done some running if it wasn't blowing so hard ! Very high winds. Stay in touch, CHH

Owens boxes look great and use no wood whatsoever. They are seam welded and I've been told by them that they 'shouldn't' leak. Not what a member on here said. I'd like more opinions on Owens boxes if anyone has one... Thanks.

After searching all over hells creation, and looking at about every box out there
(that didn't suit my needs) I had a local company build one for me.
Much to my suprise it only cost $500 to go this rout.
And, it can haul duck dogs one week and rabbit dogs the next.

Wolverine Dog Boxes created the Owens dog boxes. They sold the manufacturing to Owens.

We do the Wolverine website and they have quit carrying the Owens box and are working on coming out with a new line of boxes. They have asked that we shut down the site in the mean time.
