well i can say one you boys better go to the woods if dawgy has strong casey bred dogs their breeding is backed in large pack trials i think ogemaw casey is in top three reproducers they have incredible stamina i have had them all these are tough. to Rufus you can have good in bad in every litter i dont care how well their bred I do believe you talked highly of youre buster dog that dogs breeding is based out of michigan schnapps i believe take a look at lake ogemaw casey breeding it also is loaded with the same breeding you are talking about ausable river schnapps i guess that nothern breeding isnt so bad after all bottom line spade has proved himself well and is probably one heck of a dog but Rufus dont forget you basically have what youre buddy is giving away bred similiar in youre kennel

Yea Jimmy your right so the next time Jerad runs his lips about spankin our dawgs with hounds that he dont own people feelings might not get hurt. Now I got to thinkin on this Spade runs with accomplishment over style , so if thats what it takes to win in little pack , then he's top dawg. AS Bobby said earier thats not what we run , we want all the line with wheeels too . NOw people are adding stuff like no heart , I never said the dog didnt have heart , and I'm not trashin a whole line of dawgs outta running one week up here thats just ignorence . Ive been around dawgs for several years , had all types from slow to rough as a cobb its all about what you like and what you wanna feed. Now that all this raisin cain is over it just makes me proud to own and feed my hounds . Keep runnin!
Feed what you like, and I'll feed what I like.

carn,
my position on it was the fact that the statement was made that he didnt have any bottom. which means he has no guts and runs out quickly. i dont doubt that he might have been outchecked or what have you on a nip and tucking rabbit. what I am saying is that he is not going to run out of gas in an hours time. when he left bobby vests kennel the dog hit the ground looking for a rabbit and when he found one it the rabbit was running for its life. he could do it one hour or for as long as he was on the ground.
sounds like you guys are in it for the right reasons. gun hunting first. sounds like you got good bred hounds.
just to be clear it doesnt hurt my feelings at all about the dog.
I am just taking up for the dog. And would for any of them that I feel was misrepresented. The dog was and to my knowledge still is, ALL GUTS.

spade pups. not sure what all he has been bred to. I do know that Wayne Waitts has a male that is a midget roughly 13 3/4" that runs like he is 6' tall. Real nice little hound out of Pine Mt. Bonnet (trex x dandy run north star). He is not forsale. He has two or three out of the same litter. I also heard that Spade crossed extremely good with Kiss's Little Lady. Time will tell.
Thats one heck of a hound there flyboy.

I AGREE ALL THE WAY,, THAT NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY YOU WILL HAVE SOME DOGS IN A LITTER THAT JUST DON'T MAKE IT. THAT'S WHY WE CULL . AS FOR MY BREEDING MOST ALL MY BLOOD LINES ARE FROM UP NORTH. I WAS NOT SAYING ANY THING NEGATIVE ABOUT THE BIG MALE,HE JUST DOES NOT SUIT US.AND I HAVE SURE WENT THROUGH MY SHARE OF THEM.MOST ALL THE BETTER KNOWN BREEDS,, THERE IS ,,GOOD,, AND ,,BAD,, IN ALL.SOME TIMES I THINK I GET MORE THAN MY SHARE OF THE BAD,,
KEEP'EM RUNNING

Well one thing is for sure we all love em . As far as this versus that i am quite sure somebody has a grade dog that could kill all of us . I have listened for quite some time to this and that . We all feed what suits us best (bottom line ) Iwatch and notice that if people breeding knew half of what they thought there would be a lots better dogs out there. A true gun dog will never go out of style at my house . And also i beleive a true gun dog will win or place in ANY format . When i start using this one for trials and this to hunt i am done , I have been hung on spur breeding quite some time , my only fault in it is size i have always been able to pick a pup sale the rest or whatever mine will get to be 16 inches . My luck . Run and enjoy em fellas . Still pretty good topic as far as i am concerned
