I,m going to build a new above ground kennel tomarrow. and I was wondering if anyone has ever used the plastic latice. Lowes has some that has 1" holes and about a 1/4" thick, it is $26 for a 4x8 sheet . give me your thoughts please
I use it and don't really like it because: crap does not fall through holes that well, and, the snow builds up on it. What I do like is that it will last a long time.
I built one using the plastic lattice, works good for me. easy to clean, lasts forever, doesn't hurt their feet. I recomend it. you can see a pic at http://www.slingbladekennels.50megs.com ,look under "beagles"
i just found a flooring on http://www.swapinc.com comes in 2 foot by 4 foot pieces. I called and they redirected me to kennel solutions. each piece is 15 dollars. I think im going to give it a try. they say it will hold 600 pounds. holes are7/8 and 1.1 inch
i use it i have been for 2 months i like it you might have to scrape the waste sometimes but it's easy to spray down and even bleach if you need to . i would reccomend it . i have 2 kennels with it and some guys have seen it and they want to try it now . thanks tracy
