I have a three year old Female out of FC CHAPMANS HUNTER on top bottom side is ARNOLDS blood line that hunts like a bird dog. I can take her out at 3:00pm 90 degree weather and jump rabbits best I have ever seen and I have ran against alot of other dog males and females. I breed her back to ARNOLDS LITTLE CHIP her grand father. That should make jump dogs just like her. I raised a litter out of FC SNOOPY they are 8 months old and all know where the rabbits hide not in paths. I call a good jump dog that you can take out in the afternoon and jump rabbits and not have to take them out early morning and put them on a feeder track. Just my thoughts!

Like many have said i have a dog that doesn't necessarily hunt harder than the rest of my pack, actually he hunts about the 3rd hardest, but this dog with outjump the others 3-1. Usually goes in a different directions than the other dogs do and tends to always jump rabbits every time out. He is a 5 yr old lemon and white male out of Padgett's Bunny Busting Lucy and Cannon's Wingfield Red....he is a littermate to Dale Peter's AJ dog.

The best I've seen at jumpin rabbits is Ryan Ware's Shannon's Little Lady II she is out of Northern Tracker and Shroeder's RJ Candy, I never seen her run until she was eleven or twelve years old and could still could get it done with correct mouth. She is the dam of GRHBCH Rocky Ridge Pardon My Dust and GRHBCH Rocky Ridge Reaking Havoc both of them also are real solid jump dogs I beleive she is number two on UKC's all time leading producers list

One of the guys I hunt with has a buddy that is maybe 50 years old that jumps more rabbits than any dog I have ever seen. He may be winding the piles and not telling us about it. He hunts a little long but he usually won't say anything till the rabbit is up. I think the dogs are getting lazy and nearsighted looking at him. Breeding is probably Deep Pile Diver x Stompus Brushus. Shoots pretty good too.

Hey Cheif may be some of that way back in the pedigree. He kind of has a southern chop when he jumps. It sounds something like" ther e goes heyago, heyago, heyago" etc. Derndest thing I've ever seen. He can make a good jump dog go home and start drinking. Jumps one where the dogs just left.

I have a bitch hound. Breeding is Bordercreek and Little Cedar River Kennels. This hound was the best jump dog i have ever hunted with, She is 14 now and still hunts well, not as fast as before. I have litters out of her and they are having the same trait. I have won money off her. Betting the first hound to strike and produce a rabbit. I have shot more than 2000 hare off of her since ive had her. This is one of those once in a lifetime hounds people talk about. She will sadley be missed when she is gone
