Breeding Question
I have 2 female Beagles that are kept together in a kennel that are pretty good hunters. A friend of mine has a male that he has wanted to breed with my females when they came into season. My question is that they both came into season together and he is bringing his male over in the morning. Is there any reason I can't just put him in the cage with both of them or should the females be separated for any reason?

Normally you would take the bitches to the dog(he would be comfortable in his home surroundings/ get to business quicker, and the bitches being out of their home environment, would more submissive to him).
I would put him and one bitch together in a neutral pen/ not the bitches kennel, that way, the bitch will be more submissive to him.
Most times, there's no problems and you can hardly get out of the way quick enough...lol
Best of luck...Patch
