Grade to registered

Is it possible to get a grade dog registered if you have absolutely no idea what their breeding is?

You can register your hound with NKC. He will have to be inspected by a breed inspector, measured and all that. I think that's what ARHA was founded on..It was a field trial for grade dogs. I think I read that somewhere.

yes that is and was why ARHA was started by Everett Morgan,he was my brother in law and got me started in rabbit hunting and he knows beagles and is a dedicated beagler and wanted to give folks that did not have AKC dogs the same opportunity as AKC beaglers, hats off to UKC for doing the same thing! :D
