The Best Part...

Just got through soloing a year old female that is 2nd generation of my breeding. She handled great, hunted great, and was a pleasure to listen to run. For me there is nothing better than watching a dog that you planned the breeding,raised, and put time into turn into a good hound.

Just felt like sharing the most enjoyable part to me of beagling, and was curious about what you guys consider the absolute best part, the thing that keeps you in dogs. I look forward to reading your responses.

Daniel, Certainly sounds like you are on the right track. I am with you on running dogs that I have bred. I could never see the point in buying something someone else is trying to get rid of. I think you will do well with your planned breedings.
