A couple pics of a middle of the day, windy hunt !!

Me and my oldest son finally decided to get out today and hunt some. It was real windy this morning so we sat it out till about noon. It had calm down some but still gusting at times so we hit a place a couple miles from home. I really didnt think we would do any good but again the dogs proved me wrong. Jumped 2, got them both. Both great runs but the second run was the greatest. At least an hour run in some of the thickest fields ive ever ran in. The dogs hunted hard and ran harder. They never give up on these two bunnys even though at times the wind was bad. They had some checks but always come up with them. I was very proud of the hounds today. First pic is of Devon, my son posing our 8 yr old male Blazer. He really shined today. Also the dogs jumped 2 big bucks out of there beds and didnt even pay any attention to them. Cant beat that.

Heres the second pic of me posing my 10 year old Elvira female. She is directly out of Akc FC sings song albert jackson. This is spo del ray stubby breeding. She will hunt all day long and run all day too, does not act like a 10 year old dog. Ive got 2 pups to start out of her and Our Blazer, ive got big hopes for them.

Thanks Bev, yes they grow up quick. Im glad they just want to hunt with the ole man hahaaha. My other son is deer hunting so he didnt join us today. Very windy down this way too.
