Jip still bleeding 12 days after being Bred

Post by PrideHillKennel »

I recently bred one of my jips. She started bleeding on March 4th. She stood and was bred on march 11 and 13th. I notice blood on her again and on the kennel floor on the 21st. She was still bleeding on March 24. She should be going out this week. I have a call into my vet but he is in surgery and I ahve not heard back from him. Have any of you ever experienced any thing like this or know what might be going on?? Thought and sugestions please. LIke I said I am waiting on a call back from the vet as well. Thanks Brock

It could be a split heat cycle or she may have miscarried some of the pups, we have encountered both of these problems when a female starts to bleed again after her cycle should have been over.
