tracking the same collars with two astro dc 40 recievers?

Post by buckshot464 »

I am going to get a garmin stro dc 40 , my father is also getting one, Does anyone know if you can track the same collar with two receivers? we have three dogs and will put transmitters on all three and want to both be able to tack the dogs. We are getting two because we don't always hunt together.
Any info would be great,
thanks
Ben

Yes you can. We will have as many as four 220"s and we all track each others dogs all the time.

You can track anyones dogs if you get the collar ID number. when me and a bunch of buddys go out we usually have 3 to 4 of the astro 220's and all the dogs got collars. The only problem you might have is if the collars you are trying to track have the same ID numbers, but you can change the numbers so that you don't have any interference. All you have to do to add another persons collar to your tracker is go to the dog list and add a new collar.
