pups for Montana

Post by No falls »

Over the last two months I have e-mailed about 25 dog breeders and have called a few of them. Many of them have answered me back. Some of them could not help me at this time, but maybe later in the spring.
I am trying to find a 13-14" female pup and a 14-15" male pup out of two seperate litters in case I later decide to breed them. My search has been in the field trial champion stock. I plan to hunt with them not trial them. No field trials for 500-1000 miles from here. I prefer tri-colored with no ticks and medium to fast speed. All we have is snowshoe hares and deep snow. The dog doesn't need to catch the rabbit, because I am supposed to shoot it.
At present I am trying to locate two breeders with pups (close in age) not to far apart from each other. I would like to get the pups in one crate to have them shipped to Montana. The company that I work for also has trucks coming and going to the mideast/midwest area that could possibly transport them.
On the American Beagler Forum, I noticed some names associated with Branko bred dogs and would like to contact them or have them contact me through phone or e-mail: Dan Jaquary, Skip Ray, Jim Stinnett, Paul Bennet and Bullboy. Thank you for your help, b5ranch@digisys.net or 1-406-892-2814 - Columbia Falls, Montana

I can tell you that Dan Jaquay won't be able to help either until maybe spring. If you want to get in contact with him, just post his name. He gets on here every once in awhile.

Nofalls, greetings from Columbia Falls, MAINE! Jack Kaiser is in eastern Washington and runs mostly hounds from the Branko bloodlines. He may be able to help you. Montana has always been on my list of "must-see" places but I'm afraid if I ever went out there, I'd never come back.
