I was just wondering. Why would Trent need to send puppies to a starting pen and waste all that time and money just to run a puppy mill.Trent is in beagles for only one reason MONEY! Wherever Trent goes ,Trouble follows .As for Dick Powell,or the other gentleman swing refered to ,I have never met them and only assume they are good people until proven otherwise .But don't go on swing's word alone ,you will be dissapointed.

Ok here we got a guy saying not to go on my word, I am going to post all the guys names that I can think of that have had dealings with me on dogs or pups and we will see if his post holds water.
And if I forget anybodies name post anyways and let me know if I have done you wrong in any way.

I know alot of these guys dont have computers but if any of you guys know these guys names could you tell them there is a post on the internet that has their name on it. I would appreciate it. Whether it is good or bad I would like to hear from them.
And as far as me running a puppy mill, I dont call raising 3 litters a year a puppy mill considering I run and hunt the females I bred, I will drop any of the females I bred and run with anybody.
And yes when you raise 3 litters of pups you have to sale some, you cant keep them all.
I think you will see if everyone post on here that sometimes money never changed hands because of working out favors.
Hope you guys dont mind me mentioning your names but when someone questions my word I will defend myself.

Well this is what i think of swing i have only met him once but i was very impressed with him and here is why as most of you know you will hardly ever see me at a field trail without my 12 year old daughter becky at this past little world hunt someone gave her a nice bred pup. When we got home my 6 year old wanted her very own pup also i told her the next litter i have she gets one of her very own and that she would just have to wait until then because i just did not have the money.Well when we went back to the trail on saturday she went with us just to see all the dogs and as we were getting ready to leave that afternoon swing walked over to this little 6 year old and handed her a double bred turbo pup free of charge.Is he in it for the money i dont think so

Swing (Trent) Has never done nothing but good for me! Only thing he done wrong is sold me a couple of culls that went on to become PP Champions, he told me he thought they would, and I thank him for that. I might add he charged me a whopping $250-$300 for that dog and delivered it to Indiana for me.........some guys pay that for pups not to mention shipping costs. Thanks Trent!

I have almost dealt with Trent more than one time...LOL....From what I have seen he tells it like it is! Seems super honest to me! Trent & Tony Kildow judged my champion dog in the first round of the 2003 ARHA/NKC LP Little World hunt. I would say both men did an outstanding job staying with the hounds & making the right calls. They made the right calls good or bad. Trent...You a very good Lp judge. You can judge my hounds anytime....

I don't know the man but I sure do like the looks of his hounds and it is no secret that he is one of the fellas I want to meet in the future. Not that it matters a whole hill of beans what I think anyway!

P.S...............Swing I still like that Stone Cold hound and would be willing to come and get him if you want to give him to me as a late X-mas present!!!!

You guys are probably noticing I cant keep my mouth shut when I got 2 cents to give....LOL....But, Seems to me someone cant be all bad giving a little girl a puppy to love and at the same time promoting beagling. This is not to say that I will always agree with everything. Hopefully we can all respect each other. Cya , Paul

I've not been on the board a lot lately with the holidays and extra projects going on, but y'all feel free to e-mail me if someone makes a slanderous remark about someone else. I'm about ready to delete the thread on Mr. Powell if this crap doesn't clean up soon. This board is supposed to be an exchange of thoughts, good debates, etc., not a bashing grounds for individuals and/or their hounds.

If someone has a problem with someone else that needs resolution, grow some stones and speak to them directly instead of having them drawn and quartered in a public forum.

Swing, if I find the post that called you a puppy mill I'll delete it.

Beverley , I would let it ride, because it seems to me that what has been said about Swing has done him more good than harm. I never met either man but Swing's giveing puppies to kids says a lot about him. Talking behind ones back says more about them.

I say clean it up! This is no place for tring to smear peoples reputations no matter who it is. This all could of been avoided by Blackdirt simply saying that he prefers to use someone else or simply keep his mouth shut and leave it at that. Instead he tried to make someone else look bad (which it looks like to me hes the only one who has been unhappy) and in the process makes himself look bad(to put it nicely). There are lots of businesses and people that I do not care for but I dont come on here and run them in the ground. I might tell my buddies 1 on 1 but I dont publicly degrade them. JMO!

If you felt the need to share your experience with folks, fine - but don't broadcast it on the internet IF you have not even had the balls to speak with Dick first. Folks could care a less for this info UNLESS it is justifable. The info you have provided about Dick is meaningless to most decent folks when they hear you didn't bother to confront Dick on this. Just common sense and courtesy. Now I'm wondering who would want to continue to do business with a customer like you???

Whenever you deal with the public, you do so knowing that you can't please everyone. Blackdirt didn't even bother to let Dick know that he was not happy with his services and give Dick the opportunity to take care of this IF what Brian is saying has any truth to it at all. Who knows at this point.

I'm done reading and will not post further on this.
