chocolate, lemon, and tri from what I see. Nice looking pups!

thank that what I heard they will turn lemon but every lemon I had was born lemon I bred it to Patch hound I can only hope time will tell

Technically, genetically, true Lemon and Whites are born almost white, their color is barely distinguishable. If their markings are very clear from birth, genetically they are tan and white or red and white. However most Patch breeders, register all of them as Lemon and white, including us.

Libby, still wet, was born with color

Axle (green) and Hunter (blue) were both born with almost no color

Libby on the left and Axle on the right at 4 months, (the black was they day they decided to try to become tri colors and chewed up a pen) See how similar they become, but if you really compare face color, axle is still lighter.

Here is a better face shot, you can see the boys are still a little lighter then Libb, but much harder to tell the difference.

Tiffinis you have some nice looking pups I think we have some the same blood line got two of mine from Marr24 got one from Ten. KY. Ohio Jude nice pup

I have been reading about these colors as I'm really getting to like the variance of the tan and whites......and finding out everyone calls them something different. Do those tan/red and white pups have dark markings on their ears and around their eyes?.....Kind of looks like it, and I have seen where they loose the dark markings and become a pretty orange and white.

The sire of these pups came from Lehners Bald Eagle Beagle kennels in Tyrone (yes Marras have his brother). The mother came from Eberle's Hammerenpatch Kennels out of Ohio.
