What line produce the same type most consistently?

There seems to be quite a bit of inconsistency in beagle lines. Which line consistently produces the same kind of hound, generation after generation?

ive had the Bramlett line for 7 or 8 years and they are pretty consistant. same size, color, mouth, drive, style of run, speed. of course if you outcross some that will throw it off some, but if you were asking for a "general" answer, i would say they are very consistant. the key to consistancy is good linebreeding. i know some of the all time greats were the product of an outcross breeding, but to maintain the same traits over many generations, i feel it is best to linebreed.

Paul Webb and his Rising Suns are as consistent as any I have ever seen when it comes to maintaining the same traits and qualities. His hounds are line bred and may even have an inbreeding here and there if I'm not mistaken. I have a RisingSun/Ninja (Branko) cross bitch that is a great rabbit/hare hound but the differences are striking. I also have an 8 week old pup that is Rising Sun/Adirondack breeding and can't wait to see what he turns into. On the other hand I have several line bred Rising Suns in the kennel right now and they are the spitting image of mother and father, in the looks department and mannerisms. Blazer is uncle to the mother of these pups. Blazer is the littermate/brother to Rising Suns Red Rocket and Rocket in turn is sire of the pups mother Mousie Blue. I plan to keep a strictly line bred Rising Sun line in addition to some occassional pick of litter outcross pups.
