I was out in western Iowa a couple years ago rabbit hunting, and there were a ton of bird hunters... but when talking to locals... they thought we were joking when we told them we were out rabbit hunting!
They'ld look at us like we were crazy!

Adam I can believe that not many beaglers around these parts and it's odd becuase we have great habitat river bottoms ,marshes ,cropland ,timber.I guess that just leaves more for the rest of us......hahahahaa :!:

shortspurs, I'm in NE Kansas. A buddy of mine in Texas has a repeat litter that produced some good solid medium speed pups with loads of hunt and great mouths the first time around. I have a male off the first litter, and can post a pic if you are interested. They will be 15" and good looking. If you would be interested in this type of hound, I will be going down to Texas soon. His pups are 12 weeks old now.

Mike
