Size of welded wire flooring ???
I am about to start an above ground kennel for my beagles age 4 mos. & up . I am going to use a welded steel wire . I bought 1"x1/2" squares but will probably use it for the sides once I get some input from my fellow beaglers .
What size holes are in your above ground kennel floor ?
Also what size holes do you use for the puppies ?
Thanks in advance .

Sam can you tell me the deminsions of the flooring . I was told it was 2ft x4ft but I would hate to order it and get 12in X 12in pieces
The site just doesn't say anything about it except the 1.1 hole size .
Thanks again .

yeah each panel is 2ft x 4ft i used two panels to make a 4x4 square then put a 4x4 piece of osb to make the kennel 4x8 works well. I ran screws in all edges and ran a 1x4 strip through the center .. at one time my brother in law and i were standing on it and i weigh about 190 and hes about 180 so it should hold up unless u have some fat dogs

I ordered the same flooring and have it in my kennels. I have had it for about 2 months i guess, and have yet had to clean out the kennels. Just underneath. The dogs seem to really enjoy it also, and it seems very easy on their feet. If i was going to build an above ground kennel, this is the floor i would use..

Kennel runs
I was given 2 sections of plastic flooring that had been cut on and was able to replace the old patched up wire flooring of one run with it. It's been down for about 6 months now with a male dog in it and still looks like the day I put it down. It's easy on his feet also and nothing gets caught up. I give it a thumbs up. Time will tell how long it will last. Eventually I'll do all of my kennels with it.
