hound acting weird

Post by TBrabbitman »

I have a female that is 3 year's old. last year when i had her out she started to act weird she tucked her tail and started barking and ran about 10 feet than she snapped out of it. This year i take her out she don't want to listen to me and she is acting like a different dog. has any body had this happen before.

Watch this dog CLOSELY!
I have one male with ideopathic epilepsy who started seizing @ 26 months of age, and had two more Beagle/beagle mix rescues who acted this way before thier first seizure. I noticed a lot more fearfulness in general, odd or neurotic behavior & fear of loud noises that was never present before.
If it persists, a vet visit may be in order ...

Maybe your dog has had a vaccine reaction. My beagle has had bizarre behaviour ever since she reacted to rabies and lepto vaccines. No more vaccines for her. Screws up the 'wiring' so they become noise sensitive and fearful amongst other strange behaviours.
