It is normal for your pup to bite. He needs to be taught bite inhibition though. As soon as the dog's teeth come close to your skin, let out a loud high pitched yelp. When pup releases or moves back, praise. The pup needs to learn what is acceptible, bite pressure, intensity of play. They also teeth and need to chew while teething to ease the pain. The 8 weeks with mother and siblings is the start to bite inhibition. You now take over the teaching.

If the dog is biting at your hand the next time he/she does it push your hand into the back of its mouth while holding the back of its head, doesn't have to be hard just behind the teeth. Hold it there until it becomes uncomfortable to him/her. The dog won't bite after that.
