I have some Beagler collars and they have done a good job for me. I just got a new G-2 and I don't see why in the world you want to warn the hound you are going to bust him with a tone button. They get collar wise quick enough anyway.

jack i totally agree......i think the beagler is a good out fit as any other unit you need to do yearly maintnance on them,,,,,,,im very happy with this unit,,,,,,all the extra pronge or contact points and the booklet are still in plastic,,,im guessing this unit to be 3 or 4 years old and has been used a total of one season,,,,,,,,,,jeff

i had a beagler XL model and it worked flawlessly for about 3 years til i upgraded to a 3 dog 70 unit. i would of bought a new beagler model, but they quit making them.

I bought a 2 dog beagler system when I got my first dogs. That was 4 years ago. I sold them last year to upgrade to the G2. They still worked great when I sold them. They were always dependable for the time I owned them.
