CERF and OLA certificates

Hi,

I have this same question posted in another forum.

I am looking for a Beagle pup to purchase and would like to know how important the CERF and OLA certifications are from a breeder. What if the breeder doesn't know what these acronyms stand for?

It is not the test that is important it is the result that you need to know about. However there is veryfew beaglers, show or otherwise that test there dogs. You will see that dogs are CERF and OLFA tested but they don't post the results of the tests. This is where you want to ask what the results are.
