So.... I suppose he did nothing thats why he got over 50 million votes and will end up with 332 electorates.

Rabbithunter30, I would like to appologise as I read your post wrong and in fact misread back for black.
I'm not going to chime in on this post after this as it is irrelevant as the debate is over and hopefully the obstruction will be too. Too bad Mitch McConnell spent nearly four years with the sole agenda of trying to make this president a one term president. I'm sorry for his loss but I'm even more sorry for the losses this country has suffered from the partisian agendas in lieu of working for Americans. Like it or not this election wasn't even close and like the first one in which the president embarassed McCain and Praline it didn't even go down to the wire. The vast majority of the people have spoken and that is how democracy works. The electorate is way above the 270 needed and ALL of the swing states that Romnesia needed didn't matter anyway. Florida is still having trouble and I'm beginning to wonder if they can even add down there as they still haven't posted their vote totals. Kind of makes one wonder why New Jersy and New York in the midst of a natural disaster that totally wiped out a lot of folks homes and business could make their electorate known but yet Florida AGAIN drags their feet. Sorry, for them it doesn't matter this time as they got by with the crap once and this time they can go ahead and take forever as it don't matter other than running up the score for the winning team. Ron Conroe also made a statement that I believe is true as well. The rich and BIG Corporations in this country are calling the shots for BOTH major parties and it boils down to the lessor of the evils as they apply to each individuals personal family. What should have been a realization to politicians just as it should be to those of us who hunt is that times are changing. The things that used to be ain't no mo and more CHANGE is inevitable. The farms someone spoke about ain't the same ole family farms as they used to be as they have incorporated into conglomerates. If you know a big farm look their name up on the internet and find out how much FARM SUBSIDIES they recieved over the years. That my friends is tax dollars for NOT growing anything or in making up the difference in what they sell products for and what the market is. This is done by the government for many agricultural items including some meat animals. I've seen many people call Obama a socialist when I know they are on disability with a bum back, twisted ankle or a hurt hand with all the other parts in absolutly perfect condition but yet a veteran returning back from serving their country can't even get the medical attention they deserve for PTSS. It's a sorry state of affairs when you go to Washington DC, our nations capitol and see veterans living on the street corners throughout the city while the fat cats parade around in their tailormade three piece suits.
Steve, that guy had brains AND common sense. You can't argue with liberals using either one, it's like speaking Klingon at a biker ralley. Common sense is like kryptonite to Buck and MObeagle o.5.
Hi Mark,
I'm not trying to argue with anyone. Just making a point. The facts stand for themselves.

WHERE DID THAT 6 TRILLION DOLLARS NEED TO COME FROM???? HOLY CRAP MAN!!
TWO UNFUNDED WARS, BUSH TAX CUTS, A 20 YEAR LONG HOUSING MARKET READY TO CRASH... LOOSING 800,000 JOBS A MONTH, HIGHER GAS PRICES.. WHERE DID THAT COME FROM??? WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?? ALMOST ALL 6 TRILLION DOLLARS WEREN'T EVEN ON HIS WATCH...
P.S. I aint a liberal, I am a republican!! Truth is truth though!! All the welfare in our country makes up less than 2 or 3 percent of our total budget... Most people on disibility deserve it... The free loaders we need to fix and even dems want that but I am willing to bet you get more dollar for dollar return on your taxes than most people its just when republicans get assistance its "crop insurance or infrastructure upgrades" When its a single mother democrat, only then is it, a freeloading bitch looking for a handout.. That is truth.. Go replay what Bill oriley said after the election
God isn't real, Beer is good and people are crazy, there I fixed it.
5000 I'D like you to show all of us where you got that less than 2 to 3% of our annual budgets from and then I'm going to tell you just how wrong you are. You are NO republican either do you even know what the party platforms are, Do you know where the parties stand on the issues. You can not support Barrack Obama without being a FLAMING LIBERAL, embrace it. I am a proud conservative don't even like most of the republicans and I have the guts to admit it.

Funny that poverty and heavily populated inter-city areas of Ohio controlled the whole dang state. I honestly do not know a person that voted for Obama...no lie...personally, I do not know one....kinda leaving me scratching my head here today. When I called it a night most of Ohio was red with the exception of Cincy/Cleveland...sure makes a fella wonder how much his "vote" really counts at a national level.
Kelly,
Same thing in Michigan. Whole state voted Red, 10 counties voted Blue. Yet Obama carried the stated. Romney was correct, 47% on the take is tough to overcome.
People around you voted for Obama, they just wont admit it. If your on the "take" its not something to be proud of but none the less they know who the Santa Claus candidate was.

Pretty sure I know the platforms dude I also voted for Bush twice and Arnold S. When I was in California. I hate our Senator in Mo cause she is so liberal but when Republican challenger comes out and claims women can't get pregnant if they are raped and then another party member in another state says rape is, and I quote, A BLESSING FROM GOD, you know its time to abandon the party while they figure things out..
I like smaller government and efficient government and I almost never vote for Dems but at this stage they are the only viable choice while the GOP supports the wealthy and restricts women's rights, gay rights, minority rights, and whatever else they feel is "destroying America" because they don't agree with it.
God isn't real, Beer is good and people are crazy, there I fixed it.
So tell me in detail what womens RIGHT have the republicans restricted, what gay RIGHT have the republicans restricted, what minority RIGHT have the republicans restricted. It is easy to say but what laws have they passed that restricted actual RIGHTS.
Again you can not support same sex marriage, the detruction of traditional marriage, government take over of the health care system, on demand abortion, redistribution of wealth and so on without being a liberal and when you vote for Obama you are voting for a government dependent country.
By the way voting for Bush doesn't mean your a republican. Voting for Obama doesn't mean your a democrat but voting for 2 very different platforms probably means you don't have a set of values or principles that guide your vote, A liberal!
You see if the republicans ran a candidate that believed in those things I listed above I would not vote for him.
One glaring fact,...we just recapitalized the banks and all the business got refinanced with near 0% loans through Obama.
The biggest contributors to the Repub election was banks and energy...after they had just been saved by one party and told to fail by the other.
Now explain to the American people how this game is played again?
Sounds like to me the "good fellows club" was ready to rock and roll again after being bailed out by the commoners.

Have you not been listening to the news!!!!!!
Here is one: DENYING CONTRACEPTIVES FOR WOMEN ON THE NEW HEALTH CARE LAW!!
Here's another: REPUBLICANS TRYING TO OUTLAW ABORTIONS EVEN FOR EXPLICIT RAPE-
Its no coincidence Women OVERWHELMINGLY WENT FOR OBAMA....
God isn't real, Beer is good and people are crazy, there I fixed it.
Mo Beagler- You are wasting your time trying to have a rational conversation with rabbithound and some of the others on here. Just go skim through the patriotism and politics section of this forum and you will see what I mean. In their eyes you must be 100% in agreement with them and the tea party or you are labeled as a libtard or uneducated loser or perhaps even a deadbeat. Good luck trying though it is fun to read.

It will stay this way untill the Electorial Collage system is done away with. The most populated states and areas in the state decide whitch way the state goes.It almost caused a cival war when this system was put into place. With the technology of today every vote can be counted.Florida and California would have to get their together for it to work.
So Robbie which one of those have I called you none you just simple can't debate your position. 5000 both of those are chioces not rights and I have seen no law to deny either one. In fact abortion is legal, contraceptives are legal so which of those have I called you. See I make every effort to have a fact based civil debate, you just can't do that with some people.
You are welcome to go and examine all of my posts as you will find that I am always civil until you call me a hater or a racist or a biggot because you can't debate your position and well after that all is fair IMO and gloves of civility come off.
MO, I love you man but you gotta pull your head out of the sand and look around once in a while.
On the wars all I will say is some think it was the right thing to do and some don't. Financially speaking though I can't see doing for other countries when we can't even balance our own budget and take care of our own citizens first.
Weren't the Bush tax cuts extended by President Obama???
The housing market.......really?? Who put laws into place forcing banks to give out loans to people that were never truly qualified in the first place? I think both sides are to blame but I like how people like to just leave out that fact when they talk about the housing market crash so it sounds like the dems had nothing to do with it.
As far as I'm concerned all job numbers are a farce. Both sides like to make it look the way they want it to look based on the criteria they choose for the jobs report.
And sure let's talk about gas prices. I don't remember gas prices being consistently above $3.00/gallon ever before now.......go ahead and tell me I'm wrong. Now while I don't and won't lay that all on Obama he isn't helping either. He likes to talk about the increase in oil production on privately owned lands because it makes him look good but if we talk about any public land where he has cut exploration then that always seems to be off limits. Total production IS NOT up when you factor them in together. And for forever we've been selling off our own oil and then buying it back once it's refined......tell me how that makes sense?? That is the absolute antipathy of trying to be self sufficient as a country. We do however spend ungodly amounts of money on renewable energy technologies that financially aren't a good option yet......I believe it'll come but with time. Jamming it down our throats with grants and subsidies only wastes more of our money while trying to abandon fossil fuels drives up the prices for everything we do. I find it amusing in a sick kinda way that we give money to these places only to find out that they can't afford to stay in business because the technology and demand just isn't there yet.
Everyone is to blame for the mess we are in but I can't see saying something is a good idea just because the thought of it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Oh and as far as for contraceptives there are 2 other very viable and affordable options:
1. Condoms
2. Abstinence!! I know this seems to be an outdated concept right along with accepting responsibility for one's own actions. You can get some sympathy out of me in the case of a rape but as for the rest of it I say if you made your bed then you better be willing to sleep in it.
Example: I knew a woman that had 8 kids all with the same man that was her husband. He ended up being a deadbeat prick and split but they struggled and were on assistance after the first child came along. If you ask me do I feel sorry for her because of her situation, yes. Do I feel like we should all have to pay for her bad decisions, no. This may seem heartless to some but in my eyes it was an avoidable situation that they just continued to make worse by having more kids. If everyone would do the responsible thing and take care of home first we wouldn't be in the mess we are in the first place.
