Sounds like a good idea to me. I`m tired of the AKC---NKC.... being the only ones to make any money in beagling.
It sounds to me like all these people bashind it already just like to bash. I`ve been to a few pkc hunts. Squirrel, Rabbit. Not coon though. I haven`t seen any contraversy. No big fights. The only thing I`ve seen is professionals. Years ago PKC coonhunts had a bad rep, and we are all still paying for that. BUT, LETS NOT TAKE THIS OUT ON SWING HERE FELLA`S. depending on turnout at the hunts, they will be as many as 10 dogs cast together, and then the process of elimination will start, probably run for an hour then make a cut then run for another hour and make another cut, will bring back the best rabbit dog of the day not the hour. This is the plans for right now.

2 to 3 judges per cast

will it be up to clubs that already exist to hold this type hunt might be interested in starting a new club several of us have talked about starting a club for a few years was just curious as to where these hunts will take place

the GM deal seems to be a go, and as far as this spreading it will just depend on how bad you all want it to spread, the beaglers will own this registry and run it, it wont be run by someone that dont give a flip about it, and that never even owned a beagle.

are you going to start your own registry and standard for your own breed of beagles?can you use akc or nkc registration without being associated with them?i shouldnt have to show my akc or nkc papers to register at your hunts.

Bill as far as scoring drive by points it wont be how UKC does it, it will be more like how AKC does it pencil and mental notes, but there will also be notes on the dogs over running every turn and blowing off the end of it. Hope that answered your question.
