Jim I hate to break some bad news to you buddy but the poor are more responsible for being poor then the rich are for them being poor. Take a look around you what does it take to get out of poverty. 1st finish school, 2nd go to work, further that education, do both, 3rd don't have children until your married. Look at our society and those trapped in poverty and see how many didn't complete that list. Look at those who did pull themselves out and see how many of them did complete that list. Getting out of poverty is the responsibility of the person trapped in it. I would really like to hear you expand on you comment that class warfare was created by the right because I think that is another blame game for those that do not except responsibility for themselves. It's always someone else's fault that they are where they are. I haven't seen the right demanding the poor take care of the rich. I grew up very poor and busted my azz to work and go to school to get out and let me tell you I am offended by those that constantly blame someone else for their poor choices.

well sir I to grew up poor and also busted my a$$ as a bricklayer for 30 years now, just to hover in the middle ,feeling like I never made to many poor choices in life this is way off topic so I'm done with it .one thing ,I post on these sites with my real name and the region of the state I live in and am more than willing to pm anyone my address and make you feel as welcome as you want to be welcomed

mr matuszewski there are a lot people in this forum who went from being poor to make something out of their lives with hard work that is called the american dream. also in this country we hope for better lives for are children. those days are gone people are now be penalized for being successful. regardless of who you think started class war-fare obama has taken it to a new level. did you see his last 2 speeches on income inequality? nothing is for free someone has to pay the bills and who always ends up paying the bills in this country the working class people like always. i have never feared my government until now. the things happening in this country are things i thought i would only see in russia, chine, and north korea. the obama administration is getting away with some scary scary tactics. i do not blame 1 guy though obama is getting plenty of help. the people in this country are starting to open their eyes and pay attention now.

My name is James Best thus the jb, my post was meant to touch on the class warfare notion that's why I was interested in you elaborating how you came to the conclusion it is a right wing tool. I quite frankly believe it is and has been a leftist tool for decades as I said in my previous post I haven't seen the wealthy demanding the poor to take care of them. I am offended that I busted my hump to make something of myself and everytime I turn around the government wants to take more from the productive to support the non productive. I did not intend to offend you, I was only attempting to point out that in my opinion the people stuck in poverty have mostly done it to themselves.

Class warfare has existed forever. It can create healthy competition, or as stated can create a crutch. We ALL make decisions and every decision has a consequence. No country in the world offers better opportunities to climb higher. If you don't believe that, visit another country of your choosing. The reason these opportunities are dwindling is directly attributed to the socialist policies being implemented. Departure from Capitalism and moral basics is leading us in wrong direction.

You can legalize pot, defy nature and get a same sex partner to sodomize, tattoo your face, guage your ears, have illegitimate kids, and drop out of school but you will be swimming up stream your whole life.

On a more basic level, I could have gone to medical or law school. I could have spent 10 years building a business that could have made me wealthy but I chose the Army. I have some great life experiences that I wouldn't trade for wealth. I've known some very wealthy people and my general perception was they were not happy. They expected all their hard work would result in life of ease but soon find out they go through same difficulties everyone else go through.
