Here is a like comparison. You have two boxers talking smack before the fight. The fight takes place and one of the fighters gets knocked out. Which one of the fighters will be talking smack? Neither! The one who got knocked out doesn't want anymore, and the one who landed the punch has made his point. In the natural world they would have already worked this out, but being apart they haven't had the chance. I agree with wvbill. Put them together and let nature take its course.
