You guys might want to throw some hard hunting cottontail lines in there with your hare bred hounds, they usually keep the foot but hunt much better than straight hare bred hounds.. We have a gyp from a heavy Shake bred gyp which line has super hunt and jump power that was bred to FTC Yel Line Tokio,, our gyp has tremendous hunt and a great nose and more foot than most around here. If your looking for a gundog or PP or agressive AKC SPO up North you may want to try this...I would love to see a Northway/Shake cross, them pups ought to have so much hunt they should hunt their way out of their mother at birth and go straight pass the mothers milk straight to a rabbit out in the yard. LOL

In UKC lines White River are excellent Hunt,Jump and Foot hounds...

I have own dogs with extreme hunt out of these bloodlines Northway, Granppy, Colby Hill, Jiggs and Branko.
